MAKULIWE // For a grad school project called ‘The Lifecycle of a Brand’ we were instructed to show how a brand could be applied to a variety of surfaces and settings. Makuliwe is a fictional organization striving to empower and support the nearly 200,000 people living with HIV/AIDS in Swaziland. Makuliwe translates to ‘We Must Fight’ and the logo design draws inspiration from the Zulu shield found on the national flag.
