I am a photographer, ukulele novice, dream interpreter, typography nerd, cupcake maker, beach bum, child-at-heart, creative thinker, fun auntie, aspiring mermaid, martini drinker, singer, coffee snob, music addict, problem solver, and a graphic designer.
When I was young my Grandmother taught me how to paint. I spent the next 20 years trying to figure out what else to do until I realized art was my path all along. I earned a Masters in Communication Design in 2015 and for the first time felt like I was right where I should be. Paired with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing I have a unique ability to convey messages in a visually impactful way. I believe good design should solve problems and remove barriers to understanding. It should loudly declare what it intends without fuss or excess. It should tell a story worth telling.
